Digital Bulletin 09.18.24

Did you know? The flower beds around the church are tended by volunteers. WE NEED MORE VOLUNTEERS.  You would be responsible for a specific section of the flower bed, weeding, trimming, leaf removal, etc. We also need a family or Life group to take responsibility for the area around the white house. This doesn’t require a lot of time. Contact Debbie McKillip 317-941-0018 for more information or to sign up.

Catalyst Studies:

What the Women Saw – Women’s Catalyst Study - September 22-October 27. The class will run for 6 weeks. Join Hannah Myers at 9am in room 117 for discussion and fellowship. No need to sign up…just show up!

Do women matter to the kingdom of God?

Through this six-session study, we will discover who Jesus is through the unique perspective of women in the Bible. As we study the lives of Mary, Martha, Mary Magdalene and others, we will learn from their faith and failures and be reminded that Jesus cared for and valued the women He was surrounded by. He equipped them, listened to them, walked with them, healed them, and empowered them. And he does the same for us now.

Upcoming Events:

Blessing Adam & Alie through September 29 We want to Bless Adam & Alie! Our Student Minister, Adam Dillon and his wife Alie are moving into a new home in Lebanon! We invite you to be part of blessing their new home with a housewarming gift to help them create an inviting outdoor space. The Dillons will not just be living in this home but will also be using it for small group and team meetings as they build relationships. In the breezeway, to your right as you exit the Auditorium, there is a board with envelopes that have various amounts written on them. To participate, take an envelope and place the amount (cash or a check made out to LCC) in the envelope and put the sealed envelope in one of the offering boxes in the Auditorium on the communion tables. There will also be some envelopes labeled “Your Gift” if you would rather select your own amount to gift. We will continue to collect funds for this until Sunday, September 29. Thank you in advance for helping us warmly welcome the Dillons to LCC and bless their new home here in Lebanon. If you have questions, please contact the church office office@lebanonchristian.org
