Did you know?

Did you know that you can reserve the Church for events? We have rooms that are available to reserve as well as the shelter house and the playgrounds. If you are interested in reserving the building or outside areas for an event please email the office at office@lebanonchristian.org and they would be happy to send you a building request form as well as the facility guidelines. Once the form is received by the office they will review it, check the Church schedule, and notify you by email if the facility is available on the date you are requesting.

Kids Ministry Update

The elders continue to pray for and discern what is next for the leadership of our Kid's Ministry.  Tyler and Sharon are committed to leading our Kid's Ministry on an Interim basis.  Please continue to pray for our elders, Tyler, Sharon, and our Kid's Ministry.

Celebrate the Sell Family

We are having a Sell-a-bration on Sunday, May 5th.  Jason has been our student minister for the last 23+ years.  Jason and his family have been a huge part of our church.  As he wraps up his nearly 24 years of ministry here we want to celebrate him and his family.  We will have a small tribute during our morning worship experiences on May 5th. Following our second worship experience we invite you to join us outside for a time of lunch and connecting with one another.  We'll have pulled pork nachos for lunch, cake to celebrate the Sell Family, and some inflatables for the kids.  If it's raining, we'll move things inside.  Please bring lawn chairs and plan to interact with others that day.  We are asking that you wear a 412 Shirt from over the years (if you have one) to celebrate what God has done through our student ministry over the last 23+ years.  Additionally, the Refuge Coffee will have their coffee trailer at the church that morning.  You can purchase coffee that morning as you come into church, and your purchase will benefit youth in our area by supporting Teen Challenge.

Global Impact Spotlight

At LCC we have a rich tradition of investing in the work that God is doing globally.  Those who have been around for a while know that we have Global Impact Partners here in our city and across the world.  Twenty percent of all financial gifts to the Lebanon Christian Church get invested in these global partners.

Training Tomorrow's Leaders (TTL), located in West Africa, is spreading the Gospel of Christ, and making disciples throughout Northern Ghana, Togo, and Burkina Faso.  Since 1991 their focus is on planting Churches in among unreached people groups and training the local leaders to oversee the Churches.  TTL also facilitates projects that develop the community to provide basic needs in an area  that is impoverished.  IN additions TTL has Kids Ministries  that have a huge impact reaching families. https://trainingtomorrowsleaders.org/about-us

Haitian Christian Outreach (HCO) was founded by a faithful, humble, and passionate Haitian couple (RoRo and Eline Eustache).  Their passion has been and remains to do something in Haiti that will last.  Over the last 40 years, HCO has planted churches, established schools, developed a hospital, and assisted in various humanitarian crises.  They do all of this with one aim, to help people become disciples of Jesus who help transform their country and communities.

If you pay attention to the news, Haiti is experiencing one of its most difficult seasons in its history.  For many of us, the reality of what is happening on the ground is too difficult to comprehend. Chaos, gang violence, and political instability have resulted in record inflation (a gallon of gas now costs fifty American dollars).  This is a nation where most people live off of less than two American dollars a day.  Millions are starving, thousands have died of famine and starvation. In following the way and promptings of Jesus, we invite you into a time of prayer and fasting ( April 8th-May 18th), earnestly praying in one accord over God’s children in Haiti. If fasting every day seems daunting, don’t worry–we’re only asking participants to fast from sunup to sundown on Thursdays. We hope that throughout the forty days, as we pray together, we hope that God will stir in and shake those He has placed in positions of power and authority for the armed groups of gangs (those who became members willingly or unwillingly) and for the millions of innocent people caught in the mix. We will pray He gives each of them wisdom for actions reflective of Micah 6:8. We will pray that each of them comes to learn and feel that they are seen, heard, known, and loved. We will pray for God to give the Body of Jesus the courage to walk or run, whisper or shout, be still or move, and most importantly, love in The Way.
