On Sunday, November 26th we will celebrate our 40th Anniversary as a church during our Sunday morning worship experiences. We are eager to celebrate with you! We find the number "40" several times in Scripture. Noah saw it rain for 40 days and 40 nights. Moses was in the wilderness for 40 years. The Israelites roamed the desert for 40 years. Goliath taunted Israel for 40 days. Elijah fasted for 40 days. Jesus fasted for 40 days. In each of these, 40 was just the beginning, it was never the end.
As we celebrate 40 years as a church, God has done so much in the four decades. Yet, 40 isn't the end, it's just the beginning. Our church is primed to build off the last 40 to make an incredible impact in the next 40.
We will have two identical worship celebrations on November 26th. We want all generations to gather and celebrate so we will not have age-specific programming on November 26. Everyone will be in the Main Auditorium. However, the Family Room will be available for those parents and guardians who desire to give their young children some extra space to move.
Our worship celebrations will feature a variety of elements including song medleys, videos, and encouraging words from the stage as we celebrate what has been and anticipate what will be. Join us at 9:00a or 10:30a on November 26th.
Following each worship celebration we will have gathering spaces open in the Kid's Auditorium and room 117 where there will be cupcakes, water, and slideshow sharing memories from the last 40 years. We invite you to come, gather, visit, and connect with our growing church family. You can even commemorate the moment with a picture!
